Distributed Computing in Manufacturing 30 October 2013

HPC in ManufacturingRegister now   !!! REGISTERATION DEADLINE 24.10.2013 !!!

Simulation, modeling and other computational methods have become some of the most important pillars of competitiveness in Manufacturing. Computing is in a key role throughout the entire product life-cycle from product planning to research and development and maintenance.

Techila Technologies organizes a seminar, which introduces distributed computing methods and innovations for Manufacturing industry. The event will be hosted on October 30, 2013 by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland in Tampere, Finland.

As the need for computing grows in different industries, High-Performance Computing needs to serve a wider audience than ever before. Not all of them are necessarily familiar with HPC technologies. This seminar, “Distributed Computing in Manufacturing”, presents simulation and calculation innovations, which can accelerate new and existing processes in the industry, shorten the time-to-market, and enable extraction of unforeseen value of product data.

Distributed Computing in Manufacturing seminar will be organized as a part of SIMPRO project. SIMPRO is a project funded by Tekes, the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation. The event is free of charge to SIMPRO members, 100EUR for non-SIMPRO members.
